Goodwill Industries of Eastern North Carolina, Inc. Invests $1 Million in Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain
Greenville, NC – Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain (BGCCP) is proud to announce Goodwill Industries of Eastern North Carolina, Inc. as a new Strategic Partner, marked by a transformational $1,000,000 investment to support Club operations and programming across the region.
The grant awarded through GIENC’s Community Empowerment Program, will directly support essential Club needs, including technology, transportation, and high-quality programming that helps young people succeed in school and prepare for the future.
Serving 51 counties across the Triangle, Sandhills, and eastern North Carolina with 43 retail and donation locations, Goodwill Industries of Eastern North Carolina is committed to strengthening communities through its core pillars of education, employment, and life enrichment. This investment reflects a shared commitment between Goodwill and BGCCP to create opportunities for young people to learn, grow, and build successful futures.

Funds generated through Goodwill’s retail stores and donation centers are reinvested directly into local communities, supporting programs that transform lives through opportunities. This partnership allows community members to see their donations in action, helping provide safe, supportive spaces for youth and connecting them to the resources they need to thrive.

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain serves young people ages 6 to 18 at 22 Clubs across 9 counties in eastern North Carolina. Programs focus on academic success, character and leadership, health and wellbeing, and life and workforce readiness. With Goodwill’s support, the organization will continue to expand access to high-quality programs that prepare young people for life beyond the Club.
