Cathy Holder is the Director of Special Events & Marketing for Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain. She has been with Boys & Girls Clubs since 2016. Cathy is responsible for overseeing all special events and marketing efforts in 7 counties throughout Eastern Carolina. She received her BA in Communications from Hood College in Frederick, MD. Born and raised in Maryland she and her husband Mark relocated to Colorado Springs, CO in 1992. After three years they moved to Greenville, NC where they settled down and had three amazing children, Jordan, Kelsey and Lauren. She taught school for several years in both public and private school and coached girls volleyball as well as helped start the Pitt County Youth Lacrosse League.

A beach bum at heart, Cathy loves to travel with her crew to Maine to see her family and Georgia every summer. She loves the Panthers and is a die hard Redskin fan.

Cathy is honored to be part of such an important and tremendous mission and strives to impact more kids with every day she serves at Boys & Girls Clubs.
