HEALTHY SNACK:

PB&J Apples 

INGREDIENTS

2 apples

1/4 c. peanut butter

1/4 c. jelly

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Slice apples into ¼” rounds. Use a small cookie cutter to cut the core from the center of each slice.
  2. Spread peanut butter on jelly on half of the slices then cover with the remaining halves.
  3. Enjoy immediately.
CAREER OF THE DAY:

Jockey

 

Description: A jockey is someone who rides horses in horse racing or steeplechase racing, primarily as a profession.

 

School: High School Diploma or GED

 

Experience/ Training: Become very healthy and fit, apply for a special Horse Jockey license, then look for horse jockey jobs

 

Salary: $30,000 to $40,000 a year plus prize money

Instructions of the Challenge

 

Materials: Ball of your choice. Friend or family member. Open space outside.

Steps:

  • First, chose a ball and friend or family member.
  •  Second, go to your open space  Stand facing each other.  If you have a volleyball net, use that.
  • Third, while standing in front of your friend, make sure you have some distance between the two of you … not too far apart though!
  • Finally, whom ever has the ball first will start by hitting the ball in the air towards the other person and they are to hit the ball back to you without catching the ball or having the ball hit the ground.  The goal is to keep the ball in the air.
