HEALTHY SNACK:

Items needed:

  1. Tortillas (One large tortilla can provide more than one serving)
  2. Gingerbread man cookie Cutter
  3. Pizza sauce
  4. Any variety of white cheese
  5. Pepperoni
  6. Spoon

Directions:  Begin by using the cookie cutter to cut the shape of a person out of the tortilla. Use a spoon to spread some pizza sauce on the tortilla.  Using pre-cut pieces of cheese, create bones on top of the pizza sauce.  Last, cut pieces of pepperoni in half and lay the pepperonis on top of the cheese.  Now get an adult to warm for you.

CAREER OF THE DAY:

Do you know what a chiropractor is or what they do? A chiropractor is a health care professional focused on the diagnosis and treatment of neuromuscular disorders.
Let’s take a look at the video to see what Alison learned during her visit with Dr. Janowitz.

CHALLENGE OF THE DAY:

Today’s Challenge of the Day is a minute-to-win-it game called Balancing Act! All you will need is a yard stick, a table to setup the game, and cups! You will balance the yard stick on a face-down cup in the center of the table. You will distribute three cups to yourself and your opponent. On opposite ends, you and your opponent will try to balance three cups on each end of the yard stick, at the same time, within 60 seconds. If the cups fall, you still have a chance to complete the challenge before time is up. Once you have each mastered balancing three cups on each end, begin to add more cups to see how many you both can balance within 60 seconds!
