HEALTHY SNACK:

The final fruit of the week is the jackfruit. The jackfruit is found the rainforest of Malaysia. It can be served many different ways. You can eat it as it is or in your tacos. Take a look at this video to see how other children reacted to the taste of the jackfruit.

CAREER OF THE DAY:

An environmental scientist protects human health and the environment through their study and education in natural science. They analyze the dangers and effects the ecosystem may suffer from a variety of chemicals, advise policymakers, clean up polluted areas, and encourage industries to reduce waste.

CHALLENGE OF THE DAY:

At the Dr. Ledyard E. Ross Unit, Ms. Eliana and Ms. Oshima like to take Fridays to relax, eat some popcorn, and enjoy a movie day. Amazing movies are made all around the world! Ask your parent or guardian to help you find a film made in another country that you might enjoy. Grab your favorite snack and try watching it!
