PROGRAM HIGHLIGHT:

Lifestyle Reality

A good way to get started on future planning is to determine what type of lifestyle you want in the future. The way you want to live your adult life is a good way to determine what kind of education and career you need to pursue. So you start with asking yourself these questions:

  1. What kind of house do you want to live in, and do you plan to rent or own your home?
  2. Do you see yourself buying a car, and if so what kind?
  3. Do you plan on taking vacations every summer?
  4. Is having a family of your own part of your plans?
  5. How many kids do you want?
  6. Will your kids go to public or private school?
  7. Would you like to be able to take care of your parents?
  8. What kind of clothes do you see yourself in?
  9. What kind of diet do you plan to have?
  10. Do you plan on working for someone else until you retire, or will you own a business?
