IT'S A CELEBRATION:

May 20th is National Be a Millionaire Day!

National Be a Millionaire Day on May 20th each year celebrates the idea of being a millionaire. Very few of us haven’t imagined what it would be like to be a millionaire. If you happen to be one of the few, this holiday is for you.  And also for those of us who like to imagine spending millions. National Be a Millionaire Day is also a day to start taking steps to turn dreams into reality by making plans for your future.

Following is a few helpful suggestions to get you started:

  • Start a savings account.  If you have an existing savings account, review it to make sure you are earning the maximum interest available. Increase the deposits into your savings account.
  • Review your spending habits. Find ways to spend less and save more.

Imagine what it would be like to be a millionaire. Then, gently bring yourself back to reality. Use #BeAMillionaireDay to post on social media.

BRAIN TEASER:

I sound so cool and people all over the world come again and again to see me. Most people spend years with me but you can’t be too old or young to come see me, unless you decide to make me part of your career? I am able to make you smarter and wealthier too. What am I?

Monday, May 19th  Answer: 17
Explanation:
Let us say that the smallest of the square is of 1-unit side.
We have 6 such squares. Now moving up, if we see the squares with side 2 units, we have 8 of them. Similarly, we have 2 squares with side 3 units and 1 square with side 4 units.

6 + 8 + 2 + 1 = 17 squares.

  • Support your friends’ hobbies, extracurricular activities, dreams, businesses, or anything that is important to them.
