PROGRAM HIGHLIGHT:

With the world vastly advancing in technology, jobs like coding are very high in demand. Challenge your computer intelligence with this week’s Program Highlight, Computer Science!

Coding: the process of designing and building an executable computer program to accomplish a specific computing result or to perform a specific task.

Today’s activity is Coding a LEGO Maze.

Supplies:

  1. Paper for printing Coding a LEGO Maze free printable
  2. Scissors
  3. LEGOS or some type of building blocks

Directions: 

  1. Cut out all of the instructions from the Coding & LEGO Maze printable worksheet
  2. Using one of the five premade mazes or your own design lay your building blocks on the grey part leaving the white parts open for gamers to travel. Here’s an example:

Now test your friends and family to see who can escape the fastest. Remember to make each level a little harder.
